AI Can Do Everything But This . . .

Hey Reader

AI Can't Make Decisions for You

Last January, I asked ChatGPT a question I'd been wrestling with for months: "Should I quit my job?"

Within seconds, it gave me a perfectly reasonable 7-paragraph response about evaluating financial stability, considering career goals, assessing job satisfaction, and analyzing job market conditions.

All relevant. All logical.

But it didn't know ME, specifically.

It didn't know if I was waking up with dread every Monday. If my boyfriend was asking why I'm always tired. If I had a 6-month emergency fund saved or not.

AI knows patterns, statistics, and probabilities based on what "most people" have said about a topic.

But the best decision for "most people" is rarely the best decision for YOU.

We're Living in the Strangest Time

AI can now:

  • Write entire novels
  • Code complex applications
  • Create Hollywood-quality videos

But it CAN'T do the one thing that actually determines success and progress in any area of your life:

Make YOUR decisions.

And honestly? Thank goodness for that.

We have AI tools that can do 95% of human tasks better than humans.

But that last 5%?

That's where ALL the leverage is.

And that 5% is:

  • Taste
  • Judgment
  • Decision-making

In other words, the ability to say "THIS, not THAT."

Here's What This Means for You

Right now, everyone has access to the same AI tools. The same ChatGPT. The same Claude. The same Gemini.

So, what will separate those who use AI wisely from those who stay stuck?

It's not the tools they use.

It's the quality of their prompts.

And the quality of your prompts comes from the quality of your decisions, taste, and judgment—which all come down to one thing:

How well do you know yourself?

After all, what's the point of having a genie that grants unlimited wishes if you don't know what you want?

The Solution? Decision Journaling

Decision Journaling makes it easier to uncover what you truly want, which you can then use to prompt AI (rather than asking it generic questions that get you nowhere).

Because journaling trains you to:

  1. Know what you actually want (vs. what you think you should want)
  2. Ask better questions (specificity is the key to great prompts)
  3. Think in frameworks (which you can then teach to AI)
  4. Trust your judgment (to evaluate AI's suggestions)

The better you get at Decision Journaling, the better you'll get at using AI.

🚨Because here's the truth: if you're not careful, AI tends to tell you what you want to hear, not what you NEED to hear.

Use Your Journal to Power Your AI Prompts

Once you've journaled, you'll notice something shifts.

When you sit down to use AI, you'll ask different questions. Better questions. More specific questions.

Instead of: "Should I start a business?"

You'll ask: "I want to help overwhelmed entrepreneurs simplify their content creation. What are 3 business models that would allow me to do this while honoring my need for flexibility and creative freedom?"

See the difference?

That's the power of knowing yourself first.

AI can do everything EXCEPT the thing that matters most: decide what's right for YOU.

But once you know this—once you've done the inner work through journaling—you can use AI to enhance your decision-making in remarkable ways.

The journal is just the tool that helps you remember that.

Start with one journaling exercise tomorrow morning. See what comes up.

I'm cheering you on. 💕

P.S.S.. I know you didn't ask, but .... I'm currently obsessed with custom GPTs! It's such a time saver and makes using ChatGPT so much easier!

I'll also let you in on a little secret. I'm using a proprietary app that improves Revven to get enhanced prompts to use with AI. It combines ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Nano Banana, and other AI tools - yes, you heard that correctly!

If you want to learn more about how to get this app bundle, you can either email me back or attend a FREE virtual summit by the founders who created the app bundle (using one of my affiliate links):
